NaPoWriMo Day 6
Poetry form: Ekphrastic
(from the POV of a bird in a flock)
Follow, I must, and flap
my wings – one with the wind
that sings of how it has always been
free. Can one ever be?
An epitome of liberty, I soar
again and again, once more.
Unfettered by the idea of sin,
my delights have never been
less than more or more than less
of what is just, what is fair.
And as I slice through the air
with my swarm of gloom and gleam
my wings are one with the wind.
